2026-2027 NFL Week 7 Recap

Hello everyone!

Welcome to Week 8! Before we shift gears to this week though, here is the utilization data for Week 7 including the most picked players by position, the most played cards, and the most popular combos. These are not in terms of points but in terms of popularity of picks.

A couple of interesting observations. First, a huge shoutout to Colin the Axe for winning our Casino tournament featuring the Risk It for the Biscuit card. They went all in on the Bears on Thursday night - playing 7 Bears in their lineup along with Bijan and Amon-Ra. Then paired it with Ride or Die. The thing is - Ride or Die didn’t actually do that well - only 17.9 points. What was incredible is that they hit on 60 points for Risk it for the Biscuit! That’s a huge play on picking big time plays on players even though the total result wasn’t that great. What a lineup pick for the win!

Second is just how many of you picked Gibbs this week. He was BY FAR the most played player and is involved in 7 of the top 10 combos this week. That’s incredible. He didn’t even have a great game - which is kind of an insane thing to say for 116 yards on the ground and 5 catches for 27 more yards. That’s just a testament to how good he is that we consider this a bad game. I would say given the expectations - probably all SmashCards were a bit of a disappointment with him this week - though the one exception is Bruising Bellcow. He did have 29 carries! Which is super good value for that card.

Without further ado, here are the stats for the players by position.
